Role Overview

You’ll lead the operations side that serves our fast-paced, entrepreneurial and growing businesses in all their accounting needs. The other part of this role, and we’d argue the most important part, is to develop your team members by challenging them to be great, sharpening their accounting skills, and selflessly pouring into their personal and professional growth.

Core Functions

• Facilitate weekly one on ones with your team members.
• Proactively think about each team member’s growth and assist them in getting to the next level.
• Analyze current team structure and constantly tinkering putting each team member in the best position for the business and individual.
• Review reconciliations and analytics to ensure accounts receivable, accounts payable and WIP-related accounts are accurate on a monthly basis.
• Ensure team is processing invoices withing 24 hours of receiving approval.
• Find new and innovative ways to support the business leaders in our company in a proactive manner.

Preferred Qualifications

• MSA or BBA in Accounting
• CPA

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Office environment
• Vision for near, mid-range and far as well as hearing for low, medium, and high pitch.
• Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching above head and below waist.
• Ability to lift 5 – 20 pounds.

Hours and Schedule

• Average 40 hours per week (8am-5pm, M-F).
• Minimal travel required for company events and inter-region collaboration.
