Essential Job Functions

  • Process home closings and deposits daily
  • Process all construction deposits and PRL deposits daily
  • Maintain A/R accounts to ensure customer accounts are accurate
  • Record project accounting entries included transfers between WIP accounts
  • Accurately maintain project accounts to ensure no postings are made after completion
  • Be responsible for recording/reporting all other cash inflows
  • Assist with month-end close process
  • Record and reconcile inventory for all brands
  • Record entries related to key reserves
  • Assist in concur invoicing process ensuring approvals are received and payments made in a timely manner
  • Assist with accounting for all other brands
  • Assist with special projects in different capacities within the team as well as the overall company

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP Accounting Standards
  • 1-3 years Accounting Experience
  • Accounting Degree
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred
  • Experience with Project Accounting
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Be orderly, systematic and able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Be open and prepared to grow professionally within the team as well as the overall company
  • Be detail and task oriented

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Works in temperature-controlled environment
  • Vision for near, mid-range and far as well as hearing for low, medium, and high pitch
  • Superior communication skills with co-workers, customers, trade partners and vendors.
  • Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching above head and below waist
  • Must have a current and valid driver’s license and must be able to be insured by company fleet insurance.
  • Must be able to perform all job expectations safely with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Ability to lift 30-50 pounds

Hours & Schedule

  • 40-45 hrs/week (Flexible) (between 7:30am and 5pm)
  • Max 5 hrs Overtime
  • After hours and weekends may be necessary on occasion for trips, or to meet deadlines.
