Job Summary

To lead the IT Systems team as a high-performing team that builds for the future, maintains for tomorrow, and troubleshoots today. To demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security.

Essential Job Functions

  • Offers leadership, coaching, and training to manage a healthy high-performing team
  • Guarantee the smooth running of all IT systems
  • Responsible for the architectural design, development, and deployment of the enterprise’s overall systems
  • Participates in planning and designing appropriate technologies to meet or exceed the evolving needs of the businesses
  • Ensure that users adhere to software licensing laws
  • Enabling and assisting our software developers by building reliable and secure systems for the future
  • Manage and improve all information systems policies and documentation including backup strategies, user training materials, network maps, and security policies
  • Ensures architectural consistency and provides technical direction through roadmap process, knowledge management, disaster recovery plan development and testing
  • Manage and improve security audits, vulnerability and threat assessments, and improve the efficiency of physical and digital security operations
  • Continually improves operations through routine monitoring of system performance metrics and proactive actions

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise IT environment
  • Insatiable hunger to learn and improve systems & processes
  • Creative and relentless problem-solving skills
  • Systematic approach to troubleshooting
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Familiar with standard concepts, best practices, and procedures in enterprise IT environment
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Works under general supervision. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required
  • Primary office in Lubbock, but travel is required to other branches and to national training events

Work Environement & Physical Requirements

  • Works in temperature-controlled environment
  • Vision for near, mid-range and far as well as hearing for low, medium, and high pitch
  • Superior communication skills with co-workers, customers, trade partners and vendors.
  • Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching above head and below waist
  • Must have a current and valid driver’s license and must be able to be insured by company fleet insurance.
  • Must be able to perform all job expectations safely with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Ability to lift 30-50 pounds

Hours & Schedule

  • 50 hours per week
  • After hours and weekends may be necessary on occasion for trips, events, or to meet deadlines
  • Lunch meetings and events outside of normal working hours are required
  • Occasional travel to other company regions or event locations is required
  • Position is Exempt from overtime
