If you’re a team player with a flexible schedule, we’re inviting you to join the Ninety-Two Bakery & Café team as a Line Cook. You’ll get to turn breakfast dishes and pastries into hand-crafted works of art.

We’re looking for a dedicated foodie who can assist in the daily food prep work, restock inventory, learn recipes, and prepare in-house food orders according to café standards. Your focus will be preparing, packaging, loading, and delivering delicious burritos and pastries for our wholesale partners. You’ll also assist in the bakery as needed with bread-making and pastry baking.

You’ll be a great fit if you have previous food prep or restaurant service experience, excellent communication and listening skills, the ability to follow directions, and enthusiasm to develop new skills and knowledge. You encourage others while humbly serving the people around you. You’re adaptable to change and willing to embrace new ideas and you possess excellent customer service and teamwork skills. Prefer a more understated aesthetic with natural hair color and no facial or neck tattoos, and opt for a subtle and classic makeup style.

What’s the average week like? 

We’re glad you asked. You’ll be covering a variety of shifts, from early mornings, to lunch and closing. This position is part-time, so you will work approximately 15-25 hours per week or less. You’ll work a mix of weekdays and weekends. You will need to effectively communicate with co-workers, guests, and vendors on a weekly basis. Occasional travel is necessary for catering delivery orders, so you must have a valid driver’s license. You must also be able to be insured by company fleet insurance.
