Role Overview

Serve and support team members and leaders by maintaining accurate employee information with confidentiality, completing payroll processing, ensuring policies, processes and tasks are followed and completed accurately and assisting with other payroll, accounts payable, or business tasks as needed. 

Core Functions

  • Maintain and process employee information such as new hires, status changes and separations with accuracy and confidentiality. 
  • Execute bi-weekly, profit sharing, and special payroll preparation and reporting.
  • Maintain and improve payroll and reporting processes in systems such as UKG Pro/Ready, Business Intelligence, Microsoft Excel and Wrike.
  • Work and collaborate with the Payroll Data Specialist and Support Teams, answer emails and phone calls in a timely manner, complete Verifications of Employment, setup external Vendor information for payments.
  • Occasionally serve as the back up to the Payroll Data Specialist by creating and proving employee data/payroll reports to leadership, processing Employee Home Discounts, processing separation paperwork and state/federal garnishments. 

Required Qualifications

  • College Degree or 2-3 years of related work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Bound to confidentiality and impartial to sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications

  • UKG Pro Software preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasking skills

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Office environment.
  • Vision for near, mid-range and far as well as hearing for low, medium, and high pitch.
  • Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching above head and below waist.
  • Must have a current and valid driver’s license and must be able to be insured by company fleet insurance.
  • Ability to lift 5 – 20 pounds.

Hours and Schedule

  • Average 40 hours per week (8am-5pm, M-F).
  • Travel is occasionally required.
  • May be required to work some evenings and weekend hours, depending on payroll calendar.
