Technology Director

Role Overview

Strategically drive, develop and oversee the capabilities of our technology infrastructure, off-the-shelf software platforms, and custom software development to support the current and future needs of each business in Betenbough Companies. Lead relationally while proactively managing the technology, and inspire the technology leadership team to do the same through their teams!

Core Functions

  • Directly support leaders for IT Support, IT Systems and Software teams, providing strategic vision and oversight. 
  • Champion the success of each Betenbough Companies’ business by meeting current technology needs and anticipating future opportunities.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to proactively address business technology needs.
  • Boldly and quickly make decisions to drive business technology initiatives with measurable outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated senior leadership experience.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Vision for near, mid-range and far as well as hearing for low, medium and high pitch.
  • Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching above head and below waist.
  • Must have a current and valid driver’s license and must be able to be insured by company fleet insurance.
  • Ability to lift 5 – 20 pounds.

Hours & Schedule

  • Average 40 hours per week (8am-5pm, M-F).
  • Minimal travel required for company events and inter-region collaboration.
