BIM Specialist

About Your Future Role

As a highly innovative and growth-oriented architecture team here at Betenbough Homes, we are devoted to moving the homebuilding industry forward in vision for beautiful, livable, and affordable home design. And no forward thinking architecture team is worth their salt without an experienced and detail-oriented BIM Specialist. That is where you come in.

As the driving force behind the internal functions of our team, you’ll be devoted to creating and maintaining accurate Revit families, writing new Dynamo or Revit API modules, and expanding on our current architecture software. But your job doesn’t stop there. We are constantly growing and expect you to lead the charge in developing, refining, and improving in-house tools, Revit families, BIM libraries, BIM model standards and templates, and proving you have a constant desire to keep up with new developments in the world of BIM.

Not to mention, this is a highly collaborative role, so you will be assisting your teammates with complex modeling and any other architecture related tasks necessary to keep the whole team moving forward.

Do I Qualify For This Role?

Great question! Without a highly detailed personality and a good amount of experience with Revit, Dynamo, Python, and other advanced computer related skills, this role may not be for you. Don’t forget, you’ll need a degree in a field related to Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or Computer Science.

But if everything we’ve described so far has you thinking you are the piece of the puzzle we’ve been missing, then apply today and show just how experienced you are and how much you want to come and serve those around you.

How We Invest in You

We value the talents, time, and passion you are investing in Betenbough Homes. This is why we want to provide you with the space and resources for YOU to thrive. Beyond providing a comprehensive employee health insurance package, paid life, AD&D, and LTD insurance, a generous ESOP (your future retirement plan), PTO, cell phone, and more, we also offer services to care for your emotional, spiritual, and physical health.

What’s the Average Week Like?

You’ll typically work 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, to ensure the people closest to you get to experience the best of you. Occasionally we’ll also have lunch meetings and corporate gatherings that require some of your lunch or weekend hours, but those things are not the norm. A healthy work/life balance is not just one of those things we say we value… it’s expected.
