Role Overview

The Experience Specialist will serve as technical sales to build and preserve relationships with current and future homebuyers, providing a world class experience in an effort to serve them well and generate continued referrals.

Core Functions

  • Follow and embrace fundamental sales and construction process that encourages repeat buyers and customer referrals while building Betenbough Homes’ brand reputation.
  • Conduct proactive and reactive follow up communication with homebuyers each day in a timely manner.
  • Professionally demonstrate Frame Tours, Welcome Home Celebrations, homesites, and communities to current homebuyers.
  • Serve as an advocate for the homeowner throughout the construction process and communicate all homeowner concerns to Builder Team.
  • Manage experience events – coordinate and facilitate all homeowner experience events.
  • Coordinate with the entire construction team and assure that every home is ready for the experience event you are planning to facilitate, i.e. frame tour and orientation.
  • Develop a general “all around” knowledge of the building process to answer construction related questions with homeowners make timely and professional communication with all buyers in construction schedule.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Works in temperature-controlled environment, as well as outside in uncontrolled conditions. Position will be subject to possible extreme weather (extreme hot and extreme cold) and driving conditions (rain, snow, high winds, sand storms).
  • Vision for near, mid-range and far as well as hearing for low, medium, and high pitch.
  • Superior communication skills with co-workers, customers, trade partners and vendors.
  • Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching above head and below waist
  • Must have a current and valid driver’s license and must be able to be insured by company fleet insurance.
  • Must be able to perform all job expectations safely with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to lift 30 – 50 pounds.

Hours and Schedule

  • Average 45 hours per week (7am-5pm, M-F).
  • Lunch meetings are occasionally required.
  • Travel is occasionally required.
  • After hours and weekends may be necessary on occasion for trips, events, or to meet deadlines.
