Video Production Coordinator

Role Overview

The Video Production Coordinator facilitates the organization and seamless execution of video projects for all businesses under Betenbough Companies. They are responsible for orchestrating the planning, location scouting/booking, talent recruitment, scheduling and other various tasks involved in the production of video projects.

Core Functions

  • Scheduling and Coordination: Develop and manage comprehensive schedules for video projects, considering timelines, resources, and logistical requirements. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution..
  • Travel & Accommodation Coordination: Arrange travel logistics for production teams, including accommodations, transportation, and other necessities, to ensure efficient and comfortable travel to various shoot locations.
  • Crew and Cast Coordination: Facilitate the preparations of crew and cast lists, ensuring availability and suitability for each project. Coordinate communication and scheduling with talent, ensuring timely arrivals and adherence to production timelines.
  • Call Sheet Preparations: Prepare detailed call sheets outlining essential information such as shoot locations, timing, and other pertinent instructions for all involved parties. 
  • Transportation Management: Arrange transportation requirements for crew, equipment, and talent as per project needs, ensuring timely arrivals and departures to and from shoot locations.
  • Talent, Props, and Location Procurement: Source and secure appropriate talent, props, and locations for video productions, to meet project requirements and budget constraints.

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.A. in Theatre or BFA in Stage Management.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Office environment.
  • Vision for near, mid-range and far as well as hearing for low, medium and high pitch.
  • Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching above head and below waist.
  • Frequent walking on uneven surfaces (dirt, concrete, rock, etc.).
  • Must have a current and valid driver’s license and must be able to be insured by company fleet insurance.
  • Ability to lift 5 – 20 pounds.

Hours and Schedule

  • Average 40 hours per week (8am-5pm, M-F).
  • Travel is occasionally required.
