Why this role exists
At Betenbough Companies, we believe caring for people goes beyond the workplace. We want our team members and their families to experience meaningful connection, receive support through life’s celebrations and challenges, and have opportunities to grow spiritually, personally, and professionally.
The Connections & Wellness Manager plays a vital role in bringing that vision to life. This leader guides two teams with a shared commitment to helping people live healthy, whole, and Kingdom-centered lives.
Through intentional leadership, thoughtful strategies, meaningful relationships, and a heart for serving others, you’ll help create an environment where employees and their families feel connected, supported, and equipped to thrive.
What you’ll spend your time doing
- Lead and develop your team. Spiritually lead, coach, and equip Connections & Wellness team members, providing clarity, encouragement, accountability, and opportunities for growth.
- Bring vision to life. Translate the mission and strategy of Connections & Wellness into meaningful direction, helping your team understand the purpose behind their work and the impact they have on employees and families.
- Strengthen relationships and connection. Develop intentional programs, experiences, and opportunities that bring people together, break down silos, reinforce company culture, and build meaningful relationships across the organization.
- Champion whole-person wellness. Prayerfully identify emerging needs among employees and their families, developing proactive strategies that provide care, education, resources, and support for healthy and whole lives.
- Build meaningful partnerships. Identify and steward trusted external relationships that expand access to valuable wellness resources, including leading our partnership with Veritas Wellness & Veritas Medical.
- Create systems that make a lasting impact. Build and improve programs, processes, and rhythms that can grow with the organization. Measure effectiveness and thoughtfully steward the team’s time, budget, and resources.
- Develop future Kingdom leaders. Model and teach company philosophies, helping others grow in their ability to understand, own, demonstrate, and pass those principles on to others.
How this connects to who we are
Our Connections and Wellness teams share a heart for serving people, but each brings a unique focus to that mission.
- Connections. Anchored in peace, we support leaders, team members, and their families through life’s celebrations and challenges, encouraging them to seek and pursue Kingdom-centered lives.
- Wellness. Anchored in peace, we provide resources and create space to equip team members and their families to live healthy and whole lives.
Together, these teams help strengthen the relationships, culture, and well-being of our organization. As their leader, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how we care for people today while building a foundation that will serve future generations.
What success looks like
- Your team members are growing spiritually and professionally, taking ownership of their responsibilities, and developing as leaders.
- Employees and families experience meaningful connection and know where to turn for encouragement, care, and resources.
- Connections & Wellness programs respond proactively to real needs and create lasting value.
- Trusted partnerships provide accessible, high-quality resources that support whole-person wellness.
