As a Detail Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in the final stage of the construction process, learning how high-quality homes are completed with precision and care. What You’ll Learn & Do

- Learn how to complete finishing details like caulking, paint touch-ups, and minor repairs
- Assist in inspecting homes to ensure every detail meets quality standards
- Identify and fix small imperfections that make a big difference
- Work alongside the detail team to ensure each home is completed on schedule and ready for closing and move-in
- Build your own system for staying organized and managing tasks efficiently
- Develop practical, hands-on skills in a real construction environment

What the Role Looks Like Day-to-Day
This is a hands-on, active internship in the field.
- Work both indoors and outdoors across job sites
- Move throughout homes—walking, bending, lifting, and reaching
- Navigate active construction environments safely
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed
- Ride along or operate a company vehicle (as eligible)
Internship Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Hours: 45–50 hours per week
- Season: May through August
- Additional: Occasional team lunches and meetings
