Role Overview
The Employee Operations Intern supports the Employee Operations (EO) team with routine administrative tasks that keep onboarding, status updates, and system workflows running smoothly. This role helps prepare documents, organize records, assist with simple reporting and compliance activities, and contribute to small clarity-focused projects that make key resources easier to access. Through hands-on exposure, the intern gains a foundational understanding of EO processes while helping the team deliver consistent, people-first service across the company.
Role Responsibilities
- Assist with routine administrative tasks in onboarding, offboarding, and status change processes.
- Prepare documents, organize digital files, and ensure records are accurately uploaded.
- Assist with drug screening tasks, HRIS reporting, and salary benchmarking.
- Take on special projects related to organization and data entry tasks focused on facilitating clarity on where to find key resources for all team members at Betenbough.

- Strong written and verbal communication with a warm, professional tone
- High attention to detail and organization across multiple tasks
- Ability to follow established processes and meet deadlines
- Proven discretion and integrity with confidential or sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications
- Human Resources major or adjacent studies
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Office environment
- Vision for near, mid-range and far as well as hearing for low, medium, and high pitch.
- Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching above head and below waist.
- Must have a current and valid driver’s license and must be able to be insured by company fleet insurance.
- Ability to lift 5 – 20 pounds.
Hours and Schedule
- January – May
- Average 15-29 hours per week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday mornings necessary
