One of the ways Betenbough Companies reveals God and His Kingdom through our work is by coming alongside organizations that are making a difference in the places we call home. Through our Community Grant program, we invest in nonprofits serving the people of Amarillo, Lubbock, Midland, and Odessa — groups who bring hope, healing, and practical support to their communities. While these organizations don’t have to share our exact mission, we prayerfully consider each request through the lens of our desire to see lives transformed and communities strengthened.

We look to partner with organizations that build relationships and create lasting impact. Our goal is to enhance, not sustain, the work already being done. Therefore we fund projects and initiatives that bear tangible fruit; we do not fund ongoing operational costs. Eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofits can apply once per calendar year, with awards of up to $7,500 for non-evangelical organizations and up to $20,000 for evangelical organizations.

In 2025, the Giving and Outreach team received 202 Community Grant applications.

As of December 4, 2025, the giving team, along with our teams in all the regions, approved 114 of those to give a total of $1,332,599.78.
